Kane the 4th best winger in the conference behind Matt Tkachuk??

Classic example of a radical BS statement used to provoke debate and discussion.

And here I am...commenting...so I guess it worked? Lol

RNH?

Not a natural winger and even he was, not even top 10.

No love for Johnny Gaudreau?

There was a Calgary sports journalist on NHL radio the other day that said that Calgary intends to use Gaudreau in a middle-six role moving forward. If he's not even a top line winger on his own team, he certainly can't be included among the conference's top five.

So a journalist projects about the future and therefore he’s not a top 5 winger?
Scored 84 and 99 points last 2 full seasons. He’s not a top line winger? 27years old and a point per game player?

Ah, I see it. You’re a Canuck. Logic isn’t your strong suit, jealousy is

A Canuck is a person from Canada, so unless you're railing against all Canadians, I don't really see your logic. I'm a Kings fan, so I have no investment in this. I hate Vancouver and Calgary equally.

The argument was that Gaudreau's play has dropped off significantly since his 99 point season and that he's no longer a difference maker on the ice, especially in games that matter, having disappeared completely at 5v5 play in the playoffs. He's a quality option on the power play, but aside from that, he's no longer a top-tier player.

You have to love Kane despite his flaws. Guy is magic even after all these years.

Tkachuk isn't even the best winger on his team.

Neither of Kyle Connor, nor Patrick Laine, are RvB the best winger on the Jets.

In fact, Connor might even be 4th.

I think tkachuck could absolutely be a 90 point player. He plays primarily a shutdown role in Calgary and still puts up 70-80. If removed from that line he would likely face easier competition and more favourable competition. Also having a more offensively skilled C than backlund would help as well

Tkachuk gets 77 points in his 21 year old season..... he may never hit 90 points.

Was that sports journalist from Calgary Eric Francis? If it was he’s a complete a$$hat.
